First Thursdays 2019 at the Northrup King Building


Nemaa presents First Thursdays in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District is an Open Studio and Gallery Tour held the first Thursday of each month. Many NEMAA member artists and galleries open their doors and invite you into their studios. With a more relaxed atmosphere, this mini-Art-A-Whirl is a great experience for the art collector and browser.

NCECA 2019 ‘Claytopia’

NCECA, The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts, is scheduled to take place in Minneapolis March 27-30 downtown Minneapolis. There will be many exciting events and exhibitions before and after this convention in surrounding galleries, coffee shops, pop ups and more. I will be actively participating in several exhibitions during this conference. See my Gallery/Exhibitions page.

The mission of the Minnesota Pottery Festival is to provide a venue for high quality clay artists to educate and engage with an increasingly knowledgeable public by raising the public’s appreciation and understanding of pottery and help broaden the depth and breadth of ceramic arts in Minnesota.

Save the dates for the 22nd Annual Art Attack!

Be sure to attend this weekend packed with the visual artworks of over 300 visual artists and the sounds of a variety of singer/songwriters and composers. Put on your walking shoes and allow plenty of time to explore the Northrup King Building, talk with the artists, listen to the music and try your hand at an interactive art activity.
