In this surface decoration stage, I am working on a technique  called glaze inlay where you use an X-Acto knife to outline my applied design where glazes will pool to accentuate the depth of imaginary.

Amethyst Cups, Porcelain ^9, 3.5hx4.5w, slip application, mishima technique, incising, underglaze, oxidation firing.

I continue working on new artist created templates cut on my KNK and Silhouette Cameo die cutters. These templates are placed on leatherhard clay where I apply slip then press, incise and carve the porcelain surface creating an embossed decoration where glazes can pool.
